Masala Zone in Soho, like its sister restaurant in Covent Garden is very traditional, casual, friendly and fun and is the result of a passion to present the real flavours of India at affordable prices.

The first Masala Zone opened in May 2001, followed by Upper Street, Islington, Earls Court and then Covent Garden in 2007 and was created by the owners of Chutney Mary, Veeraswamy and Amaya. It is very traditional, casual, friendly and fun.
They offer street foods such as bhel, samosa, tikkis, kulfis and gulab jamuns. Main meals consists of curry and rice, regular thalis and grand thalis both veg & non-veg. Modern takes on Indian food includes giant size Maha burgers –veg, chicken & lamb, as well as a range of Indian style large noodle bowls which make a meal.

the traditional indian way of eating. the meal is served on a large platter (called a thali) with several bowls of different dishes, giving a balanced combination of nutrition, flavours, textures and colours. the dishes are eaten in any order you wish with chapattis (the bread generally eaten in Indian homes) and/or rice
