THE RAILWAY CHILDREN TRIUMPHANTLY STEAMS BACK INTO WATERLOO STATION!

After a record breaking run E. Nesbit’s classic returns with Theatre Breaks from 19 June. London’s breath-taking theatrical event is once again staged at the former Eurostar terminal where a 1,000 seat venue has been built around the railway tracks with audiences seated either side. The production features the amazing Stirling Single, a beautiful 60 tonne steam locomotive.

One of the country’s best loved novels will come to life using this unique theatre setting that will be converted into a 1,000 seat venue with audiences sitting either side of a real railway track.

Join Bobbie, Peter and Phyllis as they tell the story of how they became The Railway Children featuring the Stirling Single, a beautiful 60 tonne steam locomotive.

This production was orginally staged by York Theatre Royal in the National Railway Museum. It now comes to London's Waterloo Station where the drama will unfold along the platforms and tracks of the defunct Eurostar terminal, with the audience seated either side of the tracks.

The show features the old Gentleman's saloon carriage from the original classic film and a period steam train from the National Railway Museum.

The production is in support of the Railway Children’s Charity that aims to help homeless children throughout the world, particularly those who live around railway stations. £1 per ticket sale will be donated to the charity.
