Gunther von Hagens' Original Exhibition of Real Human Bodies. Once in a while there comes an exhibition with the power to change the way we see ourselves.
In Body Worlds, scientist Gunther von Hagens and physician Angelina Whalley make accessible the study of the human body, once exclusive to the medical community.
Dr. von Hagens' groundbreaking science of Plastination, the polymer preservation of anatomical specimens, allows human bodies to be presented in dramatic, aesthetic displays that mesh science and the humanities, invite everyone to contemplate, study, and reflect on the awesome human body.
