Visit King Henry VIII's huge riverside residence Hampton Court Palace and explore the gardens, palace, and famous maze.
Hampton Court Palace, Henry VIII’s magnificent riverside residence is set in over 600 acres of parkland and gardens. Evoking the atmosphere of 450 years of history, costumed interpreters can be found in Henry VIII’s and King William III’s magnificent State Apartments. The sights, sounds and smells of the great Tudor kitchens where banquets were prepared for Henry’s court of over 1000 people complement the ‘below-stairs’ story as featured in our new exhibition Suffragettes, Soldiers and Servants, the ‘grace and favour’ residents of the palace. The gardens provide a wonderful opportunity to relax and unwind and for those wanting a challenge, there is always the famous maze.
