Renovation Update 17th Jan 2011:
In celebration of the Golden 50th Birthday, Kensington Close Hotel & Spa is undergoing an impressive £40m renovation and extension project, due for completion at the beginning of 2012.
Once a small property on land co-owned by Sir Isaac Newton almost 300 years ago, the Hotel itself was built in 1960, having been originally opened as a Residential Club in 1937. The current project will bring the Hotel leaping into the future with a fantastic new interior design and extension incorporating over 700 deluxe bedrooms, grand new conference and banqueting suites, a diverse set of impressive dining facilities, plush new furnishings and a plethora of new innovations their valued Guests.
During the transformation, the hotel have asked guests to forgive ther appearance or any noise intrusions. They have taken every effort to ensure that disruption is minimized, including the limiting of substantial works to hours as listed below……

Such a tremendous project requires, of course, the support of the guests and therefore the hotel will be offering TheatreBreak customers complimentary blockbuster movies, access to more the 200 international tv channels and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
