We Will Rock You features 31 of Queen's greatest songs. Set on Earth in the future, all music instruments are banned. But there is growing resistance from the rebel Bohemians! An underground movement of music lovers is looking for a leader to take them out of the subway and into the real world of rock 'n' roll: enter Galileo.
We Will Rock You is a super musical comedy with great songs, great sets and a great story that will leave you up and cheering for a group of anarchists, The Bohemians, who are detirmined to rediscover Rock: a struggle Freddie Mercury, legendary frontman for Queen, would have been wholeheartedly in support of.
Stand-up comic and writer Ben Elton sets his orginal story to the music of a true supergroup and serves it all up at the Dominion Theatre.
Christopher Renshaw, who brings a worthy list of credentials including The King And I at the Palladium and the more recent and hugely popular Taboo, directs.
Director: Christopher Renshaw; Designer: Mark Fisher & Willie Williams; Choreographer: Arlene Phillips; Costume Designer: Tim Goodchild.
