Itinerary
Day One: After
arrival check in to the hotel located on a beautiful Cornish beach.
Spend the afternoon exploring some of the many art galleries that the
town has to offer. Choose from Belgrave Gallery, New Millennium
Gallery, St Ives Society of Arts Gallery, or the Wills Lane Gallery.
Dinner is served in the restaurant at the hotel, where locally
produced ingredients and dishes are served for a true Cornish-dining
experience. The evening is spent painting sunsets and seascapes on
the beach.
Day Two: After
breakfast at the hotel a short walk through town brings you to the
Tate St Ives where the morning can be spent exploring the galleries
and exhibitions here. After this the Barbara Hepworth Museum &
Sculpture Garden is just around the corner. Lunch can be spent in
town at one of the local eateries or restaurants. There is time in
the afternoon for a spot of townscape painting followed by an around
town scavenger hunt for some interesting still life objects. Dinner
is at the hotel once again. The evening is spent creating still life
pictures of the objects collected before dinner.
Day Three: Breakfast
and checkout of the hotel. More painting time or an opportunity to
do a little shopping for some souvenirs around the town. Too much
painting time? Why not try your hand at surfing for a bit of
leisurely fun time? Or top the trip off with a Good To See award
ceremony for the best work produced on the trip!
