Primary School’s London Day Trip
This Primary School’s annual visit to London starts early in the morning to make the most of an exciting day. An early train takes them into London for 10.00am. The morning is spent exploring St Paul’s Cathedral then they visit the Whispering Gallery, Stone Gallery and Golden Gallery after a pretty adventurous climb up the many stairs in to the Dome at the Cathedral. A relaxed lunch and a rest follows to allow the children to take in the city atmosphere. The afternoon has a self-guided tour of the Tower of London in store for them. Conveniently locating them by the Tower Pier where they join a Thames River Cruise back to Westminster Pier. With the evening drawing in they make their way back to the train station to travel back to Sherborne on the train where they talk about their favourite sights and activities of the day. 1-Day Trip Includes: £32 per student with 1 teacher for every 10 students going for free (includes rail travel from Sherborne, Dorset) |
