Itinerary

Day One

After check in at the Meininger Hostel in Kensington, head for the West End for a theatre workshop. Then grab some lunch at 'The Crypt' in St Martin's in the fields, once refuelled take a leisurely walk along Shaftesbury Avenue for a matinee performance. Choose from Shadowlands, Glengarry Glen Ross, Nicholas Nickleby, Macbeth and many more. Dinner at the quirky Salieri restaurant with it's compelling theatrical décor. Time for another performance; this time head to the beautiful London Coliseum for an opera. Still not tired? Book the meeting room at the Meininger Hostel for a bedtime drink fuelled discussion of the day's events

Day Two 

A backstage tour of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane is up first this morning then meet your guide for a walking tour of Theatrical London: see central London's oldest theatre and hear about its many ghosts, view the Royal Opera House and hear about the riots, which took place there. Visit a haunted stage door where an actor was brutally murdered and stand on the spot where Eliza Doolittle sold her flowers. After a pack lunch (provided by the hostel) it's on for the exhibition, tour and workshop at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and then to the National Theatre for a backstage tour, a pizza supper and an evening performance.

Day Three

An early breakfast and a flight on the London Eye. Time for a little shopping, laden with bags and memories leave for home.
