END OF TERM DOLDRUMS?
Three thoughts:
-
The kids who are
taking exams are out on study leave (most of the time).
-
The kids who are
not taking exams are bored and restless (pretty well all of the time).
-
This is the moment
to make the most of a clearer timetable and blow away the cobwebs
with an out-of-school visit - educational, just for fun or both.
As well as booking
venues Good To See are happy to quote
for travel by coach or rail. We can include tickets for London
Underground (unlimited travel through all but the outermost reaches
of the network), or hop on-hop off riverboat tickets. Equally, we're
happy to leave the travel arrangements to you.
To add value to
your visit we can:
-
Mix and match free
venues with those that need to be paid for.
-
Arrange overnight
accommodation to give a really full itinerary and take advantage of
off peak travel costs (don't worry about what to do in the evenings.
Budget-friendly theatre tickets, ten pin bowling etc can take care of this).
-
Suggest visits
suitable across departments, e.g. a joint Art and History visit, to
allow effective use of teacher cover.
All itineraries
include maps and directions, and, should you need help with your risk
assessment, we shall be glad to give support.
The summer term
does not last forever, of course (it only feels that way). The new
academic year will be upon us all too soon, and in this regard the
old proverb, the early bird catches the worm springs to mind. This is
particularly so with theatre tickets and accommodation. Getting the
ball rolling sooner rather than later widens your options, gives
parents a chance to budget, and allows you to bask away the summer
months in Barbados (well OK then, Bognor Regis), smug in the glow of
an A* in Forward Planning.
Some
ideas and itineraries are suggested,
but
all our tours are tailor-made to meet
individual
needs and objectives.
To
request a quotation, or to talk
through
your requirements generally,
please
send an email or give Good
to See
a call.
