Q: What does Theatre Breaks do?

A: We create  theatre packages  of theatre tickets and hotel accommodation which are tailor-made to each customers needs . We offer these in London, Stratford-Upon-Avon, and Paris. We also offer theatre meal-deals for many midweek performances.

Q: How can I book a break ?

You can book online or by phone - call Free on 0800 4583408

Q: How safe is my booking?

All bookings are made through Good To See, our ABTA bonded sister company. Good To See holds your money until you return from your break thus guaranteeing your booking, even in the event of Theatre Breaks Ltd failing.

Q:  Are my payment details secure?

A:  Yes. -  Theatre Breaks Ltd uses a secure server which is authenticated and certificated by GeoTrust utilizing 128-bit SSL certificates to encrypt and protect all communication of personal details and credit card information between yourself and  Theatre Breaks Ltd .

Q: Can I book for tonight?

A:  Availability is not held online so close to your departure date but such is our experience that as long as we receive your request by 16:30 on the day we can make a booking for any time, from that evening to next year! Of course some shows will be sold out but we take pride in a very high success rate - even at the last minute.

Q: Do you sell tickets without hotel accommodation?

A:  Yes, we offer many tickets with meal deals.  These offers are usually midweek, but some Friday offers are also available.  Also  we offer excellent deals for groups of 20 or more to whom we will sell tickets on their own. Contact our groups department.

Q: Where is the best place to sit in the theatre?

A:  All of our seats are "Top price seats" even though sometimes you do not have to pay top price for them! They are located in the Stalls and Dress Circle (called Royal Circle in some theatres). It is really personal preference as to which you sit in. To help with the jargon, the Stalls are on the ground floor - the same level as the stage - and the Dress Circle is the first level above that. Above that you can get the Grand Circle, the Upper Circle or the Balcony or sometimes all five! If you like to get close to the action then the Stalls is a good option but if you want a more general view then ask for the Dress Circle or maybe further back in the Stalls.

Q: Will I be given seat numbers before I book?

A: Yes. You will be given seat numbers before we take payment details from you.

Q:  How do I collect my theatre tickets ?

A:  Confirmation will be sent out by email. Please print the email out and take the theatre voucher along to the theatre box .

Q: What if I am arriving late at the hotel?

A:  Your booking is guaranteed for late arrival but we recommend calling the hotel if you are going to be very late (for example if you are checking in after the show. The contact telephone number is displayed on your booking confirmation.

Q: Can I get a breakdown of the price?

A: Unfortunately not. We are in contract with the hotels and theatres who give us  confidential rates which we cannot disclose.

Q: Do I pay an additional booking fee?

A: No, our fees are included in the prices quoted online. We also guarantee not to change the price after your booking has been confirmed and paid for. If you prefer to have your confirmation sent by post rather than by email we do charge £2  - we see this more of a green tax rather than a postal fee as these charges go towards the costs of improving our carbon efficiency.

Q: Is it more expensive to pay by credit card

A: No, it is the same price whether you pay by credit card, debit card, cheque or bank transfer.

Q: My discount voucher code won't work?

A: Please ensure that your code has been entered in correctly and in full, the discount codes are also case sensitive. If you don't have a discount voucher code then you will not be able to use that field on the booking form. Any further problems please contact the office.

A: We use the AA's star rating - we hope you agree that they have a good reputation for accuracy. Next Year we will also buid in their scoring system to help you even further.

Q:  Can I see the show on the second night of my stay?

A: Yes you can. If you select the night you want to see the show, then when you go to the hotel page you can change the night you arrive at the hotel.

Q: Your website hasn't given me seats numbers and just says "Top Price Seats" what does this mean?

A: This means the package is not available online. If you continue to the next page of the booking you can enter your contact details and a consultant will get the package available for you offline  - this will include seat numbers.
