Loved by romantics for almost 25 years Dirty Dancing is a powerful story of love, freedom and acceptance.

America in 1963 and Frances Baby Houseman is spending summer with her family at an all inclusive holiday camp. 17 years old she is the apple of her father’s eye but in this coming of age story “Baby” learns the ways of the world and her father must see her for the young woman she has become.

Falling in love with the camps working class dance instructor Johnny Castle, “Baby” and Johnny must face the prejudice of class differences if there love will last the summer.

The original film was released in 1987 and won an Oscar for the iconic song ‘I’ve Had the Time of My Life’.

Dirty Dancing Theatre Breaks in Cardiff features outstanding dancing alongside the hit songs from the film including ‘Hungry Eyes‘, ‘Hey Baby‘, ‘Do You Love Me?‘ and, of course, the phenomenal “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life‘.

No one puts baby in the corner!
